What the team have to say:
Angela, who cleans a few hours a week around her part time job and child says: “I’ve been working for Splash Clean for nearly a year now and the work fits in really well with my other job – it’s also good way of using your brain in a different way! There is also the opportunity to take on extra hours either permanently or to cover someone else which makes things really flexible.”
Louise, a primary school teacher who is now at home bringing up her children says: “Although I never dreamed I would be a cleaner, I must admit now that I find it quite rewarding to walk backwards out of the door after finishing my shift, admiring the difference I have made to somebody’s house. Splash Clean take the hassle away by supplying the clients and the cleaning equipment. I like the flexibility to work more hours and earn more money when I am available and if I need time off to be with the children there is the flexibility to do this too. To be told by a client that I ‘make 150% difference’ to her house and that she ‘loves coming home on a Tuesday’ after I have been is great reward, even if it is just cleaning!”
Do you want to join our team?
Are you looking for part time work in Winchester or Alresford? We are looking for a couple of enthusiastic, hard working people to join our professional and friendly cleaning company in the Winchester & Alresford area. This is a great opportunity to give your income a boost whilst doing whatever else it is you need to do. Maybe you are bringing up your children, starting your own business, studying, or want extra hours to add to your current part time job.
Experience as a cleaner is not essential, in fact, none of the team have worked as cleaners before! Many of our team have other part time jobs as personal assistants, book-keepers, nannies, writers or are starting their own small businesses. I am looking for professional people with a flexible approach to their work, and a friendly caring character is essential. You would need to have exceptionally high standards with consistent attention to detail. OCD is rather useful! This role would suit a mature, reliable character with initiative who is able to work under their own supervision; not only cleaning but caring for homes.
Hours to suit from 2 – 8 hours per week or per fortnight. A clean could be 2, 3 or 4 hours long, we could allocate the hours to you that suit your schedule. You may not want to do regular cleans, but just be available for spring cleans or helping other team members on their regular cleans when they are on holiday or just need help. You will be allocated weekly or fortnightly cleans with the same families. Cleans are normally in the morning, or very early afternoon, so you could do a clean and have the rest of your day free! All cleaning equipment and products are supplied. We only use natural & eco friendly cleaning products, which are also kind to our noses and health! No uniform is required. You will be given a trial clean with Viv, who will show you how we use our products and what is expected, after this you will then be allocated your own family, and Viv will attend the first clean with you before you will carry out the cleans under your own supervision.
Please note that this is a long term role, and we are only looking for people who we feel are able and willing to commit to this for the forseeable future. Hourly rate is £10 per hour.
Interviews take place in Winchester or Alresford, after we have obtained excellent references from your two most recent employers. We will also need to see two forms of photographic personal identification and one document confirming address or one form of photographic personal identification and two documents confirming address. All documents must be originals, or copies of originals certified by a solicitor.
Please apply by emailing your CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by calling her on 07891181267.
